BJK&E Shed

We've had some well deserved promotions here at BJK&E over the last couple of weeks, including Louise Reid and Carl Hillery who are now Associate Directors.  Paul Capleton now becomes Group Head, Angela Bustard is promoted to Planner/Buyer and Emma Wells as Senior Search Executive.  Well done to them all.

Our Joint MD, Tim, became a father for the third time this week.....Tim and Helen now have a beautiful baby girl called Betsy - congratulations to the ever growing Irwin family.

Recent account wins have led to further expansion of the BJK&E team. Hayley McRae has joined as Group Head, Gemma Morris as Senior Planner Buyer, Sophia Stilliard as Senior Broadcast Planner Buyer and Angela Bustard, Louise McCue and Charlotte Grove as Planner Buyers. 

Due to the raft of new business wins we had during 2007, we have now entered the Top 20 media agency league  in Campaign in 18th place.

Building on our successful new business run in the last 12 months we have been appointed by Ubisoft, the games software company and Eurosport to handle media planning and buying requirements across all platforms.  British International Motorshow have now also awarded us their offline media planning and buying account. 

We have appointed 2 new planner/buyers : Dan Parkinson who is joining the Ubisoft group and Kate Rigby who joins to work on the Canon and Jarden accounts. We have a host of promotions to announce – Emily Rich has been promoted to Group Head along with Carolyn Whitehead.  James Campbell is now Media Manager, Matt Waghorn and Tim Jones have been promoted to Senior Planner/Buyers. 

Not to mention our spate of marriages – both Emily Rich and Carl Hillery get married in February, but fortunately not to each other!   Congratulations to them both.

Fabio Labate, Tim Jones, Matt Wahgorn and Emma Wells all passed the Google Advertising Professionals (GAP) programme exam.  This now means BJK&E have 10 qualified professionals since November 2006 and are now a qualified GAP company.

BJK&E's quarterly awards, the OCA's (Outstanding Contribution Awards), saw the most amount of entries into the December awards since they started back in 2006. 

The standard of entries were all very high and it proved impossible to seperate two entries.  So congratulations to Matthew Waghorn for his Chrysler group Allstars campaign implementation and Emily Rich, her third OCA win, for her work 'Capture Every smile' Canon Ixus partnership with C4.

Many congrats to them both.

We have another new recruit this month Natalie Grout has joined us to look after our 'front of house'.  Please say hello to her when you next visit or call.

We have had an excellent run of new business wins recently and can add another 3 to the list.  These are Securecoms, Public and Commercial Services Union and the British International Motorshow.

Welcome back to Nicky Bradley who rejoined in October after 10 months' maternity leave.

Lastly, well done to James Campbell and Louise Reid who took part in a sponsored walk to Canterbury on behalf of our client Marie Curie Cancer Care, raising several hundreds of pounds for the charity.
